Your privacy

The numbers you enter

The calculator does not send your loan balance, interest rate or payment options to Computavi or another service. It does not put them in the page address, cookies or browser storage.

Your entries and results stay in the page’s memory while you use it. There is no account or saved-scenario feature.

When you download or print

Downloading a payment table creates a CSV file containing the selected option’s payment schedule. Printing includes the comparison and the selected payment schedule.

These actions put your numbers in a file or printout outside the calculator. Where that copy is saved or shared depends on the device, spreadsheet software and printing service you choose.

Your theme preference

Choosing Light or Dark saves only that theme choice in your browser so it can apply on your next visit. Choosing System removes the saved choice and follows your device’s appearance setting.

Calculator entries, results and calculator-search text are not saved with this preference or sent to a service. If your browser blocks storage, you can still change the theme for the current page.

Visiting a website

Opening a page sends connection information, such as an IP address and the requested page, to the services that deliver the website. Those requests are separate from the loan numbers you type into this calculator after it loads.

Analytics in the calculator

The calculator has no analytics or advertising code. It does not send events about your calculations, extra-payment options or downloads.

When you visit a linked website

Some explanations link to sources on other websites. If you follow one of those links, that website’s privacy practices apply to your visit. Your calculator entries are not included in these links.
